Thought we would share our favorite spot with another Senior Missionary Couple...the Harper's from Utah!Arvin is in his favorite spot and chair while we go walking along the beach. We fixed our lunch and brought it with us! The Australian's say you should buy fish and chips for lunch by the beach.. might be an idea!
There are around 16 young Sister missionaries and all were invited by Sister Simmons for an outing. Some had to come 8 hours away! I was so happy to go along and drive all the way to Sydney by myself to be there!! Sister Simmons had a great lunch prepared for us to eat at the beach. Then we went shell hunting, exploring and take pictures!
Sister Simmons and myself at Balmoral Beach! What a great place to be!
Bulli beach by Woolongong just 30 minutes from where we live!Below is another spot on the strip of all the beaches but not where we stop and relax as the beach below is hard to get to and rocky! Makes for a beautiful picture!! The sand on the beach is really soft and great to walk on where we go. You can see lots of trees and hills behind the beach area which are really green and beautiful. We love to sit and listen to the waves and feel the slight breeze!
This is Arvins favorite place to be atthe beach.....not on the sand but looking at the ocean and watching the surfers. We love to go to the beach for a picnic lunch and just unwind. Usually not very many people and very peaceful...just us and the seagulls!

Lorikeets...they also fly around the neighborhood and we found these in a ward members backyard. They had at least 8 they were feeding.
Galahs....really beautiful and are found in our neighborhood!
Sulphur-crested Cockatoo! They are everywhere...in the trees, in peoples yards. They squawk loudly as it is their mating season. We think they are beautiful but annoying at night!
